Biography

Adj. Prof. Dragos Truscan's  research on using model-based technology and machine learning for the development and testing of software systems, including the evaluation and validation of their non-functional properties. Truscan participated in several national and European research on these topics. Over the years he has co-authors numerous publications and been part of the programme committee or acted as reviewer for conferences and journals such as Springer’s Software Quality Journal, Elsevier's Journal of Systems and Software, International Computers, Software & Applications Conference (COMPSAC), IEEE International Workshop on Software Test Automation (STA), Forum on specification and Design Languages (FDL). In addition, he acted as associate editor for the International Journal of Embedded and Real-Time Communication Systems, (IJERTCS), IGI-Global, co-Editor of the IGI-Global’s Special Issue on Model-Based Testing for Embedded and Real-Time Communication Systems and program chair for 8th Nordic Workshop on Model Driven Software Engineering (NW-MODE 2010). Truscan has supervised several doctoral students.
