My research interests lie in the advancement of business sustainability through the integration of nature-positive and climate-neutral technologies and strategies. With over 30 years of experience in the industry, I aim to leverage my extensive background to contribute meaningfully to these research goals. My primary focus has been the management of industrial services, and I am keen to expand this focus towards a more technology-oriented research paradigm.
Originally from Tallinn, Estonia, I relocated to Finland in 2000 to pursue a professional opportunity with Nokia. I obtained my Master’s degree in Mathematics and Mechanics from Moscow State University in 1989. In 2004, I received an MBA from Concordia University in Estonia, and in 2014, I earned my doctoral degree from Åbo Akademi University.
I have accumulated over 30 years of professional experience in various technology companies, including Nokia, Tieto, and Fujitsu. My background encompasses extensive involvement in EU and public projects, particularly during my tenure at Forum Virium, part of the Helsinki City Group. Additionally, I am an entrepreneur; my company, Innotrain OY, specializes in providing IoT architecture services and IoT solutions.
