An analysis of Estonian press debate on "constructivism", 2017-18. Political accusations against "constructivism" in social sciences and humanities echoed those prevalent in the U.S. culture wars. Characteristic for Estonia was the key role played by "opinion leaders", e.g., columnists well-known from elsewhere, but with little context-specific expertise; and the centrality of the concept of "nation" in the debate.
