One type of 'scientific hoaxes' aims at ridiculing scientific journals by fooling them to publish underiously written texts. The article discusses three cases (Sokal; Goghossian; Pluckrose & al.) and points at their weaknesses if considered as experiments. None of the conclusions made by the hoaxes' authors, or by many of their commentators, are justified.
