I examine the new role of the photographer as photographer and publicist, taken by both private individuals and professional photographers. The photographer's role today is that of the publicist's yesterday and the photographer's practice has changed from photography to photography and sharing. It is in that division that the photographer inherits the power of communication, a communication that since the 90's digital breakthrough for photography and the digitization of society has generated an increasing space for the image.
