Forskningsintressen
I am an Assistant Professor (tenure-track) in Minority Studies at the Faculty of Education and Welfare Studies. My primary research interest are in multicultural teacher education and culturally and linguistically responsive teaching. I have related interest in diversity, equity and inclusion. I am Principal Investigator in the LET-IN project and partner in the Erasmus+ project SHIFT (https://www.abo.fi/en/project/61677/). I have strong knowledge of quantitative and qualitative approaches to educational research and has a multidisciplinary research background. In addition to multicultural and multilingual education, I have researched and published in the areas of adolescents' socio-emotional well-being and children's' social interaction in the classroom.
