Biografi
Emmanuel Acquah is a professor of education specializing in Minority Research at the Faculty of Education and Welfare Studies at Åbo Akademi University. He currently serves as the Director of the master’s program in Teaching and Learning. Additionally, he is the Assistant Editor of the Educational Research Review and an international Co-editor for Revista Catalana de Pedagogia. Dr Acquah also consults on various projects across Europe.
His primary research interests include anti-oppressive and equity-based pedagogies, culturally and linguistically responsive teaching, and universal learning design. He is also deeply invested in diversity, equity, and inclusion, educational technology, and the role of technology in fostering inclusive teaching and learning environments. Dr Acquah is the Principal Investigator (PI) for several national and EU-level projects.
