Students will be able to distinguish between:
Exclusion and social exclusion
Social exclusion and poverty
Social exclusion and marginalisation.
In all, this course will touch on topics such as globalization, marginalization, poverty, capitalism, social justice, unemployment, and the welfare state from the lens of social exclusion.
Skills acquired include presentation skills, research, academic writing.
