Workshop with Inês Tavares Lopes

As one of Portugal’s foremost conductors, Inês Tavares Lopes has conducted choirs such as Ensemble Vocal Desafi nados, the AMAL Youth Choir, and the Ensemble Vocal Aura. Since 2021 she has served as Assistant Conductor of the famous Coro Gulbenkian. She was an instructor for vocal and instrumental ensembles, choral conducting, and vocal technique at the Escola Superior de Música de Lisboa, and now she would like to offer some insight on improving your singing skills, too! Singing is one of the most special experiences we can have, but sometimes we worry too much about issues that prevent us from enjoying the process. This session aims to awaken and enhance everyone's ability to sing individually and in groups, giving participants tools and tips that will help them use their voice in a freer and more uncomplicated way.
