The PEP Network was founded on, and continues to be, a conversation of traditions between academics on the way theoretical concepts, educational practices and policies, and research approaches are understood and used in and across our respective contexts. The shared interest in
issues of pedagogy, education, and praxis has been the foundation from which PEP members have
established collaborative empirical projects and publications, connected by our overarching research
questions. The overall theme of the PEP International Meeting 2025 Rethinking the purpose of education in challenging times: Policy, action and democracy.
