Abstrakti
Acidic and metal modified micro-porous zeolite catalysts are used in commercial processes in petroleum industry for petro-chemicals production, fuel components, and abatement of emissions from exhaust gas. Synthesis of acid and metal modified zeolite catalysts based micro-reactors was carried out, with special emphasis on the enhancement of interaction of zeolite coating via pretreatment of micro-reactor elements. The micro-reactor elements were pretreated at 923, 1023 and 1123 K, and the highest surface roughness obtained was 0.476 μm for 1123 K and the lowest surface roughness was 0.158 μm for the micro-reactor elements pretreated at 923 K. The micro-reactor elements pretreated with phosphoric acid and acetic acid showed a surface roughness of 0.157 μm. During the stability test on the adhesion of the zeolite coatings to the micro-reactor elements carried out using ultrasound irradiation and high flow of nitrogen, zeolite coating remained attached to the surface of micro-reactor elements. However, H-MCM-22 and H-ZSM-5 zeolite catalysts coated in the channels of pristine untreated micro-reactor element were removed during the ultrasound irradiation and high nitrogen flow treatment.
