"Tog ni emot helig Ande när ni kom till tro?" (Aph 19:2): En studie av Andemottagande och dess relation till omvändelse-initiation i Luk-Apg

This article discusses the reception of the Holy Spirit and its relation to conversion-initiation in the Lukan corpus. The main conversation partners are James D. G. Dunn, Robert P. Menzies and Max Turner. I argue that for Luke, the gift of the Holy Spirit is given primarily for prophetic, charismatic power for ministry and mission, but also for the soteriological cleansing and renewal of the church; and that Spirit reception is a distinct part of the whole initiation process to Christian life that cannot necessarily or automatically be linked to any other specific part of this process.
