Efficient Distributed Media Transcoding Platforms

EasyTrans is a commercialization project developing efficient media transcoding platforms. The project developed the commercialization of a novel approach to reduce the cost of performing video transcoding on computing resources. The approach is based on the composition of two techniques enabling distributed transcoding operation and accurate prediction of the execution time of the operations.
