Abstract
The authors emphasize the widespread applicability of the principles of modern surface chemistry in process and product development within different branches of manufacturing, such as the paper, metal products, food, chemical, ceramics, and pharmaceutical industries. The aim of this work is to present composite picture of 'classical' surface chemistry, both 'wet' and 'dry', and to describe the principles arrived at with representative examples.
