Abstract
The article discusses the philosophy behind Conceptual Semantics approach to language system. The issues discussed in the article are: (1) goals of research, (2) background assumptions, (3) methodological guidelines as well as (4) formalisms and technical solutions. The focus is on the methodlogical guidelines.
