Abstract

The article discusses three areas of disagreement in recent Jesus scholarship, pertaining to 1) how scholars contrue the (hi)story of Jesus research, 2) how scholars construe various "doubles" of (the historical) Jesus, such as the Jesus of faith, the real or biblical Jesus, "our eternal contemporary, etc., 3) how scholars understand the Jewishness of of Jesus.
