Abstract

11C-radiolabeling technique was applied to characterize nickel and aluminum modified MCM-41 mesoporous materials. On the basis of desorption and catalytic transformations of methanol molecule, which were studied under different exposure of the surface to 11C-labeled and un-labeled methanol, the contributions of various catalytic active sites to methanol conversion was discussed.
