Abstract

The education systems across the Nordic countries have adopted international frameworks; indeed, starting from ECEC, the entire education systems are formed around key principles on equity and full participation possibilities for all children. This chapter gives readers a summary and outlook on the different chapters of this book. It describes some of the similarities and differences when it comes to special educational policies and practices. In this chapter, different enablers and challenges are presented, as well as the developmental objects identified by the authors across this book.
