Abstract
The chapter introduces the content of the second volume of this work. The book is designed to be thought-provoking and to build on existing research traditions that make small business, entrepreneurship, and family business a resource-rich arena for research. This volume is not a substitute for in-depth knowledge of either qualitative or quantitative approaches but should be seen as one that enriches existing knowledge.
