    Abstract

Printed supercapacitors were prepd. to be applied as a part of a hybrid power source in printed electronics applications.  The use of nontoxic materials was preferred.  The supercapacitor structure consisting of current collectors and activated C electrodes was applied on paperboard substrate using Ag, graphite and activated C inks.  Aq. electrolytes with NaCl salt limit the max. potential to ∼1.2 V but are environmentally friendly and provide low equiv. series resistance (ESR).
