The article briefly tackles the papers presented at the Conference on Impacts of Fuel Quality on Power Prodn. and Environment held August 29th-Sept. 3rd, 2010. The topic area of the conference includes the combustion properties of various low grade biomasses, the fate and properties of heavy metals in combustion and corrosion due to vaporized metal chlorides.
