Abstract

Excitation functions for S-32 + alpha elastic scattering are measured by a new method based on inverse kinematics and a thick gas target. Data corresponding to the Ar-36 excitation range 12-16 MeV are treated within the R-matrix approach. Spin-parity assignments are given for over 40 new levels. (C) 2000 MAIK "Nauka/Interperiodica".
