Abstract
The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has negatively affected the cruise and ferry industry as the passenger numbers and revenues have plummeted. Therefore, we developed a holistic approach for mitigating COVID-19 during seaborne transportation in a cost-efficient way by combining behavioral changes, procedural workflows, and technical innovations to reset the industry.
