Love Crossing Boundaries: an investigation of interethnic relationships, gender and ethnic biases

Research output: Other contribution

Abstract

This exhibition examined oppression and stigmatization across ethnic, gendered, and bodily boundaries through the stories of seven couples whose love challenges patriarchal and community norms in Finland. Combining outdoor visual storytelling and a panel discussion, the project highlighted the challenges, supports, and resilience of these couples, using art as a lens to explore social hierarchies, stigma, and transgressive relationships.
