    Abstract

As a scholar, one sometimes come across books where the authors have succeeded in fulfilling the toughest task of a written text, to destroy the walls of comfort that we have constructed around our perspective on a given phenomenon, and then giving us a new version of the same. Organization in Play did that. Often we overlook the playful and foolish aspects of a given field as something not worth considering as insightful, something less than serious and hence not interesting. Organization in Play, on the contrary, provide us with tools to both open up the analytical possibilities of play, and to study the playful aspects of organizations as a helpful way to understand their full reality.
