Project Details
Description
In the MICAS project we looked at applying the principles and techniques of the Model Driven Architecture™ to provide design method tool support for a reconfigurable HW architecture for SoC developed at Nokia Research Center, Helsinki.
The main focus of the project was on:
- Defining a graphical domain specific language for the architecture using profiling and metamodeling mechanisms,
- Building graphical editors for modeling various perspectives (structural, control flow, data flow) of the architecture at several abstractions level
- Model transformations for refining the system models towards implementation
- Code generators for automatically generating the SystemC simulation code of the architecture from design models.
