This was an EU framework funded Strategic Targeted Research Project (STREP) coordinated by Prof Thomas Herdegen with Dr Eleanor Coffey as partner. The consortium included scientists from the fields of pharmacology and neurociences. The work centered around c-Jun N-terminal kinase, the development of inhibitor tools for the kinase and investigation of its basic mechanism of action in the brain.
