Description

The project explores the role and use of complex picturebooks in secondary literary education. Through various studies, for example by systematically reviewing previous research, by exploring adolescents' interpretive work of complex picturebooks, by discussing theoretical concepts and premises for literary education with complex picturebooks, and by studying teachers' experiences of using picturebooks in literature teaching with adolescents, the project aims at contributing with knowledge on the role and function of complex picturebooks in secondary literary education.
