We aim to increase the mechanistic understanding of how primary producers will respond to rapid changes in the marine environment by integrating across ecological and evolutionary levels.
1) What genes in pre-Anthropocene vs. modern strains of diatoms show signs of adaptation in relation to documented changes in environmental conditions?
