Academy of Finland Research Doctor Project (2007-2010)

The research project was carried out partly as a critical theoretical study of the academic research field of religious dialogue today, and partly as an ethnographic study with a focus on religious dialogue as a creative activity in the art world. Within the framework of the project, six European artists were studied who in their art take a stand on religious dialogue (interviews, participatory observation, data collection): the authors Eric-Emmanuel Schmitt and Susanne Levin, the musicians Jordi Savall and Chokri Mensi, the visual artist Cecilia Parsberg and the multimedia artist Marita Liulia.
