Biography
Yifeng Chen obtained his Master of Medicine (Professional Degree) in Orthopedics from China Medical University. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in the Doctoral Programme in Biosciences and Drug Research at the Faculty of Science and Engineering, Åbo Akademi University. His doctoral research is conducted under the joint supervision of Prof. Hongbo Zhang (Åbo Akademi University) and Prof. Wenguo Cui at the Shanghai Institute of Traumatology and Orthopaedics, Ruijin Hospital, Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. His research focuses on utilizing microfluidic technology to develop injectable microspheres and lipid nanomaterials for the repair and regeneration of bone and intervertebral disc tissues.
