Biography
Tero Heinonen is a PhD candidate in the Study of Religions working on an ethnographic dissertation project on the role of music-making in contemporary spirituality and new religious movements in Finland. His research interests include the sociology and psychology of religious emotion, interaction ritual theory, role theories of religion, and musical experience in Indian guru movements and contemporary spirituality.
