Personal profile

Research interests

I am interested in the relationship between semantics and grammatical variation in the world’s languages. I have conducted typological studies of complement clauses involving more than a hundred languages as well as language-specific grammatical studies of Danish and the Bantu language Ruuli spoken in Uganda. Currently my research interests also include second language acquisition(primarily of Nordic languages).

Biography

I have worked  as a University Teacher of Danish at Åbo Akademi since January 2019 . I have a bachelor's degree in Japan Studies (2011), a master's degree in Linguistics (2013) and a ph.d. degree in linguistics (2018) from the University of Copenhagen, Denmark.
