Research interests

My main research interests are the ecologicalimplications of introduced species and how these introductions affect native species and communities. In my PhD-thesis, I am studying the trophicinteractions between native and introduced species in coastal areas of the Baltic Sea as well as identifying spatial and temporal changes in them. Iam also looking more into how the structureand function of the species communities is affected by the introduction ofnew predatory species. In my research, I am combining quantitative field-based observationaldata with qualitative stable isotope and DNA-based methods, as well asexperimental work.
