Biography

Background:
I have a foundation in organic and analytical chemistry, with an M.Sc in organic chemistry, focused on organic synthesis, purification, and characterization. Alongside academia, I have over eight years of industrial experience as a Laboratory Supervisor in both the petrochemical industry (Lordegan Urea Fertilizer Co.) and diagnostic and medical laboratory (Meyar Danesh Pars Co.). This industrial background has strengthened my proficiency in a wide range of analytical techniques, including NMR, GC, HPLC, IC, AAS, ICP, IR, UV-Vis, and various titration methods.
Current Research:
As a PhD student at Åbo Akademi University, my research focuses on the advanced analytical and organic analysis of bio-oil fractions derived from processes such as pyrolysis. I develop and optimize cutting-edge analytical techniques to characterize bio-oil components, improve yield efficiency, and enhance the quality of bio-based products. This research contributes to the development of cleaner, more efficient biofuels, supporting renewable energy, waste valorization, and climate change mitigation.

The methodologies I employ include various NMR approaches, GC and GC-MS, high-performance size-exclusion chromatography (HP-SEC), and other state-of-the-art analytical tools. By refining these techniques, my work contributes to the broader field of bioenergy, promoting the efficient conversion of biomass into renewable energy sources and high-value chemicals.

This research is conducted as part of a project funded by Business Finland, in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams working on sustainable solutions for bio-oil production and bioenergy applications.
