Hamed Ahmadinia has a Ph.D. in Information Studies (22.5.2024) and is currently engaged in post-doctoral research with the Mobile Futures project. His doctoral research at Åbo Akademi University emphasized the importance of understanding and addressing the unique information behaviors of diverse populations. In his role with the Mobile Futures project, Hamed has honed his skills in quantitative data analysis, focusing on critical aspects such as trust in migration-related information and the labor market challenges faced by racialized immigrants.

This multidisciplinary pursuit not only informs policy but also seeks to mitigate information disparities and improve interpersonal and digital health communication among immigrant groups. Hamed's academic journey reflects a steadfast commitment to enhancing understanding and support for immigrant communities through informed research and practical application. He is involved in the Mobile Futures project, specifically in Workpackage 3: Trust in Information, Academy of Finland (2023–2024), and Workpackage 4: Trust in the Labour Market, Academy of Finland (2023–2024).
