Research interests

After gaining a PhD in 2019 on a dissertation on Heracleon's second-century commentary to the Gospel of John, now published as a WUNT monograph with Mohr Siebeck, I have mainly been working on genre issues in early Christian literature and the Apocryphal Acts of the Apostles. In my postdoc project at Åbo Akademi University i aim to combine these two interests by studying how the ideal image of a Christian disciple has developed in early Christian apostle stories from the first century to the fifth.
