Description

Modern technological advancements in communication and mobility, as well as international social, political, and economic restructurings in the past century have contributed significantly to increased opportunities and (un)willingness for human migration across the globe. This course focuses on how international migration has evolved in the past century, with particular attention devoted to issues relating to ethnicity and religion. The course also covers the role of religion in increasingly multicultural and sometimes superdiverse societies.
