Description

The overall aim of the course is to

Equip students with digital activism skills
Equip students in the design and production of blog posts or podcasts to form academic and work-life purposes
Help students develop a holistic understanding of the intersection of Disobedient Knowledge, Social Exclusion and Activism.

Upon successful completion of the course, participating students are expected to be able to:

a) Demonstrate understanding of the concept of activism for social exclusion issues through the theoretical lens of disobedient knowledge.
b) Understand the basics of designing digital activism campaigns using a series of blog posts that collectively communicate a powerful message on social exclusion issues for selected or global audiences.
c) Understand the practicalities involved in scriptwriting for podcasts and producing engaging series of podcasts that collectively communicate powerful activism campaigns on social exclusion issues.
