During a ten-day research visit to the Marine Technology Department at NTNU in Trondheim, Norway, I focused on the estimation of thrust force in a ship propulsion system. Our work involved developing and refining sensor fusion techniques to improve the accuracy and robustness of thrust force estimation. This collaboration provided valuable insights into the challenges of marine propulsion dynamics and contributed to advancing state-of-the-art methodologies for ship performance evaluation.
