Lecture by Dr. Andrew Bennett, former Ambassador for Religious Freedom in the Canadian Ministry of Foreign Affairs on religious freedom and the pitfalls of secularism from a foreign policy perspective. The address focused on how foreign policy practitioners from Western liberal democracies can be hindered by their secular formation when engaging religion in international relations, specifically in defending religious freedom within foreign policy.
